About
Tathagata Chakraborty
I run Paraphrase Labs — a small B2B go-to-market consultancy. The work falls into three areas: research-driven outbound, customer stories turned into proof assets, and content engines built to be cited by AI search alongside Google.
Most of the companies I work with are SaaS businesses between seed and Series B — often vertical-AI startups whose founders are technically strong but haven’t yet built a go-to-market function that compounds. The point of every engagement is the same: stop guessing at outbound, stop spending on content that nobody cites, and build a system where every interview, every case study, every page does more than one job.
What I work on, specifically
- Targeted outbound systems.Research into real buyers, a fitted list, sequences that land because they’re built on how the buyer actually thinks.
- Market & gap research. TAM/SAM/SOM sizing, competitor exposure mapping, content-gap analysis, and a ranked list of the next markets worth entering.
- Proof & content ecosystems. Case studies with real numbers, one customer interview turned into 8–12 reusable assets, and content built to rank on Google and be cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.
This blog
The Playbookis where the operating notebook lives — frameworks, worked examples, and the metrics that decide whether a tactic works. Posts are long, lean on first-party data, and cite their sources. Every post follows a single rubric drawn from the Princeton GEO research (KDD 2024) and a 680M-citation analysis by Digital Bloom: a 40–60 word answer capsule under every section heading, a statistic or quote in the first 150 words, named third-party citations, and an honest “last updated” date.
Working together
I work with a small number of clients at a time, on retainer. The best fit is usually a Series A or B B2B SaaS where the founder or VP of GTM wants the system built alongside their team, not delivered as a deck. LinkedIn DM is the fastest way to reach me.
